Charter schools are independent public schools that are free to be innovative and are held accountable for improved student achievement. We are able to involve parents to a greater degree in school culture and decision making. Our smaller school size allows us to provide enhanced structure and student discipline. We promote achievement by holding our teachers, student and parents accountable.
We are able to reward high quality teachers. Furthermore, the school is able to be responsive to community needs and provide a quality education choice to families.Charter schools are public schools. As such, they are held to the same – or often higher- standards as traditional public schools. In addition, they must meet additional measures of accountability set forth by their chartering body and are much more accountable to you.
